HOLIDAY SHOW PROMO

Q&A

NEED A SMALL SIZED PHOTO?

If you’d like to re-size the photo to much smaller dimensions, especially for the web, we suggest that after resizing, if things look fuzzy, run the “Sharpen” filter in Photoshop once.  We’d be happy to assist though. Please let us know what you need, via the Management contact button at the top of this page.

WHAT’S RGB…CMYK…DPI?

“dpi” means dots-per-inch resolution (how much detail).  300 dpi is standard for professional printing (websites usually use only 72dpi).  “RGB” means a “3-color” image, which is suitable for everything except professional “4-color” “CMYK” printing (glossy show programs, glossy pro posters, some newspapers, etc).  Web is RGB. Home inkjet or laser printers are usually only RGB. Our CMYK photo MUST(!!) be viewed and edited in Photoshop, or similar CMYK-capable program, or colors will look odd. All trained graphic designers are able to assist you with this simple process.

WHAT IS A .ZIP FILE?

Your photo has been compressed into a container for downloading.  If you double click on the file, it should “un-zip” and you’ll see the actual photo nearby – as well as the original .zip file.

Don’t have a graphic designer? Contact us and we can offer suggestions and assistance on usage.
